Name: Raw FlavaMusic: RnB, Party Classics, Soul, PopBiog:Before there was any Flava, there was Raw Flava. Raw Flava was founded in 1996 when Dj Menace and Mr Wileycat collectively started playing at house parties in East London. Originally going with the name Strictly Rhythm they changed their name to Raw Flava early in and became house party favourites. Their style of playing all types of music means that they are able to cater for any crowd, from 18yr olds to 48 yr olds. They started holding events of their own in 1998 starting at Elite Nightclub in Hackney. Mr V joined the ranks in 1999 and they became more popular, playing at venues such as Hanover Grand, Temple Rooms, The Brink, and Q club to name a few. They were weekly residents at Cynthia's in London Bridge on a Wednesday night and are currently residents at Corks Wine Bar on a Friday. They have been Djs on Y2K Fm, Sweet FM and Ax Fm. |
